I am a licensed therapist offering CBT-I for individuals struggling with chronic insomnia as defined in the DSM-5 TR. However, what about those dealing with sleep disruption or acute insomnia? Is their suffering less valid? What about individuals who prefer not to pursue therapy? What about those who have sleep problems but want to know what to do before sleep gets out of control?
